JOB DESCRIPTION

This is your chance to work in a fast-paced, service business performing the role of a structural pest control Service Technician for our residential and commercial clients.

Our company has been providing quality, environmentally friendly pest control in the Lower Mainland of BC for over thirty years. We provide an integrated pest management approach to all structural pest problems in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.

Duties for this position would include helping our valued customers by providing them with inspections and safe treatments for structural pests in their homes or workplaces. No experience is necessary as we provide all the necessary training and ongoing support. If you are personable, enjoy challenges and have a clean driving record, this might be the career for you!

LOCATION: Lower Mainland, BC.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• Route Work/On Demand Work
• Service our residential and commercial clients on a frequent basis (e.g. weekly, monthly, etc.); our clients would include restaurants, apartment buildings, warehouses, etc.
• Digitally document any findings/treatments and provide recommendations to enhance the existing pest management program
• Must be able to write reports and proposals
• IPM Certification

Our Service Technicians are required to have an “IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Certificate”, which is obtained by passing an exam that is administered by the Ministry of Environment.

All training and study material will be provided by us in order for you to obtain your Certificate, as well as ensure you are fully equipped to safely and effectively manage our clients’ pest problems.

DRIVING RECORD

As this job requires driving, we would need to review your driver’s abstract prior to offering employment. Safety on the road is as important as the safety of the treatments that will be conducted at our clients’ locations.

SALARY/BENEFITS:

• $23.00 to 25.00 per hour
• 30% commissions on recurring sales
• Permanent Full time
• Monday to Friday (40 hours)
• Occasional after hours/weekend calls (overtime provided)
